This study examines the potential application of blockchain technology for metadata verification in civil proceedings, analyzing both the legal framework and implementation challenges. Through a systematic review of existing literature, legal precedents, and technical documentation, this research investigates how blockchain can enhance the authenticity and reliability of digital evidence in civil litigation. The findings suggest that while blockchain offers promising solutions for metadata verification, significant legal and technical hurdles must be addressed before widespread adoption in judicial systems. This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on legal technology innovation and provides practical recommendations for stakeholders in the legal sector.
